Apartment hunt

Spending a lot of my time on the below website these days. My darling and I are moving in together and we want to buy something new that is also a bit bigger. I've already started the process of selling my apartment. On Monday a photographer is coming over to take some photos, the ad on Hemnet will be created a couple of days later and people will be able to come and view the apartment on Sunday the 9th of October. It has been my home for the last 5 years, so it's a bit sad to leave it behind. Though I must say that I have an exciting chapter ahead of me :)

F and I have also participated in the bidding of three apartments so far, they have all been lovely but the problem is that other people also thought so. We've had to let them all go and today we were both a bit sad, but since we're not in a hurry we'll have to believe that we'll find the perfect one in time!

White paint

One day this summer my brother, myself and F decided to take the opportunity to paint the staircase (at least parts of it) in our parents house white while mam and dad were in the summer house. We had been thinking about it for a while and wanted to surprise them.

We worked hard that day and I remember being so sore the day after from sitting on my butt all day! ;) Kim, Lisa and the kids came over as well and we all had hot dogs together for lunch which was nice. Benjamin entertained us as always and then even Kim had a go at the painting. We got very far after one day but Kim and my brother finished it all off a coupe of days later, just before my parents came home.

Dad didn't know how to react when he first saw it and found it difficult to take in, but mam was over the moon! She said to give dad a couple of days and then he'd get used to it. I think he likes it now and I'm sure he appreciates our efforts, at least I hope so. We all had a good time while being at it and I think it looks much nicer than before :)

Loads of stuff

Tonight I'm going through the apartment to see how much stuff I've stored that I don't really need. I've already filled six (!!) bags with crap. It feels so good and I'm dying to get rid of even more. Among all the things, I found 300 SEK in cash and also three silver rings that I have been looking for quite a while now. Well, two of the rings I had forgotten about but one in particular I was really glad to find :)

Today has been a really busy day in work, I've been really busy all week actually. There are a lot of small projects that we're soon going live with and everything is not going as smoothly as we would like it to go. Hopefully I'll get a lot done tomorrow so that I can relax this weekend and just have fun. I'm actually attending my first scrapbooking event and I'm really looking forward to it. Emmeli asked me to go when she was here this summer and I thought why not. Tomorrow night I'm packing my things and going to Enköping to meet 59 other scrapbooking girls. I bet they're all really good at what they're doing so I'm hoping to learn a lot and to get a lot of inspiration :)

A couple of weeks ago I went over to Maria after work. I haven't seen her since she went on maternity leave and I was really looking forward to meeting her second son Markus. He's such a cutie and looks exactly like his brother Lukas. We had a lovely evening and got to catch up properly, hopefully I'll get to see them soon again.

Visit to Vallentuna

On Sunday myself and F decided to visit Kim, Lisa and the children in Vallentuna. We started the day by having a look at an apartment in Sundbyberg that was up for sale. After that we went out to Vallentuna and the weather was lovely so we could sit outside in the sun while having coffee and playing with the kids :) Benjamin was asleep when we got there but after a while we heard some footsteps ;) When he saw that we were there his whole face lit up - it was so nice to see! Elias is getting bigger and bigger and you can actually interact with him now. He "talked" and smiled a lot :)

After a couple of hours we left the Hellman family and went straight over to my mam and dad's where we were served dinner :) My brother had just come home from New York so we got to hear all about his trip while we were there. He had bought me a pair of white Converse shoes - he sure knows how to make me happy!

Tonight I'm spending with my darling in his apartment, we went down to O'Learys earlier to have dinner. F had a burger and I had a lovely Ceasar salad :) I'm quite tired and have a lot on my mind right now so I think it will be an early night. Good night!

Crayfish party

Last Saturday me and my friends enjoyed a lovely traditional Swedish crayfish party. We booked the date in the beginning of the summer and said that we were going to be outdoor. If we'd get rain we'd just cancel. Luckily we had amazing weather this Saturday and everybody was looking forward to sitting outside. It was probably the last proper summer night and I certainly enjoyed it even though I got a lot of mosquito bites ;)

F and I had bought some Swedish crayfish from Småland and they were really tasty. We all had prepared some additional food like different quiches, bread, aoili, snacks and dessert that we also enjoyed as well as the crayfish. We drank schnapps, sang different songs and had an amazing time. It got dark at around 21:00 but we didn't care. It was a lovely evening and definitely a night to remember. Thanks everyone for making it happen!

Fashion favorites from Zara

I browsed through Zara's webshop the other day and found a lot of stuff that I liked. I love the combination pink and orange right now and fell in love with these shoes. However, the heels are 12 cm and a bit too high for me. Also the knitted jumper is gorgeous I think and I'd love to wear that with a pair of jeans and some nice jewellery to go with it.

I wish I had unlimited money right now and that is as far off from the truth that you can get. This autumn I have to save, save and save for our holiday.
