Hamilton 2

Tonight F and I are going to the cinema to see Hamilton 2 - Men inte om det gäller din dotter. We haven't been to the cinema for a long time and though it'd be a good idea to go before we have a little baby to take care of ;)

Today we've been travelling around to different shops looking at things to buy for our house. There are so many nice things out there, but we'll have to wait and see what we need and what to buy in which order. We're gonna buy a new sofa anyway and we have found one that we really like in Mio. It has to be big so that a lot of people can sit in it together. Hopefully we'll have a lot of family and friends visiting us in our new house :)

We also picked up a new mattress for our bed that we had ordered from Kungssängen. We have two single mattresses now but wanted a bigger one in size 180 * 200 cm. I hope it'll be nice to sleep on but I think so ;)

Magic Mike

Last night myself, Micaela, Petra and Jessica from work had decided to go to the cinema to see Magic Mike. We went to Vigårda for a bite to eat first, then we had a cup of coffee at Espresso House before we got some sweets for the film. It was a lovely evening and I enjoyed watching the film as well, Channing Tatum is a bit of a favourite :) Didn't get home until late last night, don't think I went to bed until 1:00 am. Needless to say I'm tired today, better head to bed soon ;)

The Vow

Last night myself and my baby decided to go out for dinner, we went to a local restaurant in Sundbyberg called Bra Mat which is a fish restaurant. We both had a lovely bouillabaisse with salmon, hake, prawns and clams and we could sit outside while enjoying it.

Afterwards we walked home and watched a film called The Vow with Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum. It was a really good film and even F seemed to like it. I recommend it!

Chilling

Sunday again and another week ahead, luckily we have Easter coming up and I'm only working 3 days this week. Looking forward to being off for 5 days, yay! This weekend flew by, feels like it ended before it even started. Yesterday myself and F went out to Gustavsberg and the Ittala outlet to buy some Rörstrand - Swedish Grace plates. In the evening my brother had invited us for dinner and he made us greek meetballs in a tomato sauce that were served with potato wedges and tzatsiki, it was yummie. We also watched The descendants with George Clooney and I quite liked the film and thought Mr Clooney did a great job. I was the one driving us home so no wine for me.. still it felt like I had been drinking a few glasses because I was really really tired.

This morning we stayed in bed until we felt like getting up and then we made ciabatta bread in the oven for breakfast. F met up with M to play squash and I went to the gym for the first time in ages. It felt great and this afternoon I had loads of energy to tidy up a bit which I know F will be happy about ;) Right now I'm watching a few episodes of Revenge while F is at the cinema. I'm getting tired again so I think I'm gonna head to bed soon. Hope you all have had a lovely weekend despite the snow!!

The girl with the dragon tattoo

Tonight myself and Fredrik are heading into town to go to the cinema, we want to see The girl with the dragon tattoo. We've talked about going to restaurant Byn for a long time and so we thought that we'd have dinner there first :) I'm excited about seeing Rooney Mara doing Lisbeth Salander, but I doubt she's as good as Noomi Rapace. Anyway, we'll see tonight!

Earlier on today we played badminton with Marcus and Maria in Sundbybergs rackethall. It's so much fun playing badminton. I'm not very good  (yet!) but I'm certainly trying and F is giving me a lot of tips which I appreciate!

Tower Heist

Yesterday I went to Filmstaden Råsunda to see Tower Heist with my work colleagues. I didn't know what to expect but I actually really enjoyed the film. It's always nice to the cinema after work!

Right now I'm lying in bed and I'm getting really tired. Hopefully I'll be able to read a couple of pages in the book One Day that I have borrowed. Everybody says that the book is so good so now I've decided to read it and afterwards I'm gonna go and see the film.

Earlier on my darling and I discussed the different clothes piles you create when doing the laundry. He explained that he is always dividing his clothes into three piles; one for the clothes he's gonna wash at 60 degrees, one for dark colours and one for lighter colours. When I looked at the piles I saw my beige trousers and my beige cardigan in the dark clothes pile!! My baby is mad, but I must say we had a lot of fun when arguing about how to do it. It's all fun and games when you move in together with someone and you get to see all sides ;)

How many lingonberries are there in the world?

Went to the movies tonight to see a film called Hur många lingon finns det i världen? and the English translation would be something like How many lingonberries are there in the world?. It was a very nice film, both funny and sad. I love when we go to the cinema with work, it's such a nice thing to do together on a weeknight :)

Got home at around 20:00 and was starving so I made a celeriac soup with bacon, it was lovely! Found out about my tax return and I'm looking forward to receiving it at the start of the summer, it wasn't that much but enough to make me happy. At least I'm getting something back! :)

The King's Speech

I've just finished cooking one of the dishes from Middagsglädje and I'm gonna have a nice lunch box with me tomorrow :) I haven't had the time to make everything since I've been kept really busy but now I'm trying to catch up as much as possible. On Sunday I'm getting a new delivery again! Tonight I made some smaller burgers made of mince filled with feta cheese and olives and with that I had quinoa, sweet peas and some more feta cheese. I also made a tomato sauce with garlic and basil that tastes really nice ;)

Colin Firth is one of my favourite actors

Tomorrow night I'm gonna go and see King's Speech at the cinema in Råsunda and I'm really looking forward to it. I hope the film is good, none of my friends have had anything to say about it. I know my company will be great though and I'm gonna bring the biggest bag of sweets ;) Hopefully I'll have time for a run during the day as well or before I head over to the cinema. Now it's time to hit the pillow!

Gotta love that kid

The weekend is coming to an end but I've had a lovely one so I'm not too sad about it. Right now I'm phyiscally exhausted since I went to the gym for a run this afternoon. I ran 10 km on the threadmill and my legs are quite sore after that. Bodypump is on the agenda for tomorrow but we'll see how it goes ;) I'll have to take it easy with the weights I reckon. It feels great though, I'm getting into the training again. I'm writing down all of my training sessions now and I'm trying to squeeze in 2 running sessions per week at least, one shorter distance and one longer (starting off with 10 km but then I'm gonna try to add 1 km at a time). I'm glad I can complete 10 km without any major problems since I haven't been running properly since this summer. So far this my training weeks for 2011 have looked like this:

Week 1
Monday: Bodypump 55 min

Week 2
Monday: 5 km run - 9,5km/hr
Tuesday: Bodypump 55 min
Friday: Functional toning 55 min

Week 3
Monday: 8 km run - 10km/hr
Tuesday: Bodypump 55 min
Saturday: 5 km run - 10,5km/hr
Sunday: 10 km run - 9,5km/hr

Yesterday I went to Vallentuna to have dinner with Kim, Lisa and Benjamin. It was lovely to see Benjamin again and he was full of energy as always. I asked them if he has started talking yet but they said he's still mostly saying "Da" but he's trying. At the kitchen table, Benjamin was eating away and all of a sudden he looked at his mam, formed his lips and out came a loud and clear "Bajs!" (= poo). That was the first word I heard him say ;) After that I heard him say some other words like "Pappa" (= daddy), "Ljus" (= candle) and "Aj" (= ouch). Good boy! Benjamin and I got to play a lot and he gave me a lot of kisses. I stayed the night so we kept playing with each other this morning :) I hope I get to see him soon again cause I miss him already!

Last night we saw the film Precious, it's based on the novel Push by Sapphire. It's a horrible but true story and I really liked the film. The film stars Mariah Carey.

Svinalängorna

Yesterday afternoon I met up with my mam to go the cinema. We had decided to go and see Svinalängorna or Beyond which is the English title of this Swedish drama film that I really liked. I love Noomi Rapace in it, she's such a good actress.

Before we went to see the film we had lovely pizzas at Vapiano :)
