Lazy Sunday

Today I haven't done much. Emilia woke up at 5:20 (!!) this morning and didn't want to go back to sleep so F got up with her and I stayed in bed like I normally do at the weekends since I always get up to feed her twice per night and need to catch up on my sleep at some stage. 5:20 is way too early though so I felt sorry for F actually. Emilia didn't sleep much at all after that so when I went downstairs to see them, she was really tired and cranky. F looked exhausted so I took Emilia and ordered him to go upstairs to sleep, while E and I went out for a walk in the sunny weather. We were out for about an hour and a half and it was so refreshing. E slept for about two hours then and she really needed it.

Later this afternoon I went to the grocery store to do some food shopping, I have now planned dinners for every night this week because I'm sick of having to think of what to have for dinner every single day and I don't like having to go out food shopping with E.

This afternoon myself and F have played with E who didn't want to sleep at all since 14:30. When I fed her at around 18:00 the "lights went out" completely and she is now fast asleep in her bed. She's very good sleeping in her own room, we just have to make it a little bit more cosy. I'm waiting for some furniture that we have ordered to arrive and we also have to find some time to put up the wallpaper that we got for her. It's a lovely Nina Campbell wallpaper with butterflies on a green background called farfalla.

Now I'm relaxing on the couch while F has gone to play some tennis with a friend. I'm gonna go to the bathroom in a second to have a long warm shower and I'm gonna put on a face mask and pamper myself a little bit. Tomorrow is a new week and we have a doctor's appointment regarding E's skin, I'm meeting up with my friend Monika on Wednesday and we haven't seen each other for years so I'm really looking forward to that and I'm also meeting up with two other mams (they're coming to our house) on Thursday.

E has been sick for about two weeks now. It started with her having a fever and a bad stomach two weeks ago. Last Sunday she got a cold and she's been sneezing and coughing all week. This weekend she has been coughing up a lot of mucus and I'm wondering if she has caught the rs virus. I don't know but I'm a bit suspicious so we're gonna see if the doctor can take a test tomorrow. She has been alert and eating well though, so it hasn't been too bad but I really want her to be well now my poor little girl. If it isn't the rs virus then it's a really nasty cold and I want her to get rid of it now!

New couch

Today F and I decided to go to Mio again to have a look at the couch that we liked when we saw it a couple of months ago. It's called Modern Living and you can pretty much build your couch the way you want it by selecting different blocks. This morning we had a look at the measurements of the house and tried to figure out which type of couch that would fit best in the sitting room. After a bit of discussion we knew what we wanted and since Mio currently give a 15% discount on this particular couch and deliver it before Christmas if you order it now, we thought it might be a good idea to go there and have a chat with the staff. It resulted in us ordering a couch that looks pretty much like the one on the picture below, but the fabric we chose is a darker grey. I think it will look really good in our sitting room and I'm really excited :)

After that we rang F's mam and asked her if she wanted us to pay her a visit, she said to come over so that's what we did. It has been a while since we saw her so it was nice with a bit of a catch up again. She has been away picking chanterelles recently and showed us her freezer, the top drawer is completely full (!!!) and she gave us a good bit to bring home with us. We didn't say no to that of course! ;)

Canvas prints

F and I really like these canvas prints from Gallerix, one of Jimi Hendrix and the other one of Marilyn. I'm dying to decorate the house when we move in, but I know it will take a long time before it will look the way we want it to look (there are many things to be done). We are going to have to do it bit by bit, but in a way that is a good thing because you can really think through everything that you want to do.

Today I left my apartment keys to the new owner and finally I can leave it all behind me. The plan was to sell the apartment already last autumn but since we discovered the problem with the bathroom we had to deal with a court case and re-renovate the whole bathroom before I could sell it this August.

Tonight myself and F went down to the local Indian restaurant in Sundbyberg for dinner, since there was a second viewing of F's apartment. There were 13 people/couples there yesterday for the main viewing and 3 more tonight. I really hope that the bidding starts tomorrow and that F can make a bit of a profit. Fingers crossed!

Bed throw

Last weekend myself and F bought a new bed throw, I've wanted one for quite a while and I like the marine style a lot. Finally I found a nice throw when I was browsing the homepage of Mio and F liked it too, so we bought it as well as a pillow to go with it. We needed to get a throw for the bed since the photographer came to take photos of the apartment that are now posted on Hemnet by the way. I'm so hoping that F will get what he wants for his apartment and/or a little bit more. Fingers crossed and it will go well next weekend when the possible buyers are coming to view it.

We need to get a few more pillows to throw on the bed, they have nice ones in Mio but they have not reached the stores yet so we'll have to wait for another while. There are loads of things we want to buy for the house, but we'll just have to get it bit by bit. Can't wait to decorate the house when we have moved in but I know it will take time, especially since we'll have a baby to take care of as well ;)

Cake dish

I have been looking for a cake dish for quite a while, the reason for it taking so long is because I don't really know what I want but I have found one that I like now. It is one in white from Nordjus and it costs 379 SEK. It would be perfect for putting homemade cup cakes on it ;)

I'm back from Denmark now but I decided not to go for the dinner tonight in the end. I have a bit of a headache again and there is quite a lot of work to do before Friday so I thought it was better to stay home. We've had a good trip and got a good bit done but like I said, there are still some tasks left. Fingers crossed and everything will go well when we go live with the project on Friday!

Just looking at the weather forecast and it looks like it's getting warmer again, thank God. It was really cold today again and I'm missing the warm weather we had for Easter. Looking forward to the weekend, I have nothing planned other than meeting up with Johanna on Sunday. We haven't seen each other for ages so it'll be nice with a catch up :)

Nespresso

This week is flying by, it's Thursday tomorrow already. It hasn't been as hectic as the previous weeks but I can feel that I'm run down. It started with a headache on Sunday evening and I haven't got rid of it yet but it's getting much better. On top of that I've got a nasty cold sore on my upper lip as well :( I hate them and it takes so long for them to heal!

On Sunday evening myself and my brother went over to mam and dad's for dinner. We got to see the amazing photos from Kenya of all the animals :) Our parents also had a surprise for us, they had got us a Nespresso D110 each and I can't exactly say that I'm not happy about that! ;) I got one in a 60's white colour and have been thinking about changing it for a black one if possible. But now I'm seriously considering keeping it as I really like the white colour. The reason why I was thinking of changing it is because I have a lot of black and red colours in my kitchen and didn't want to have too much of a mix of colours. I'll have a think about it for another while but then I want to start making my lovely coffee!

New carpet

I realised that I haven't showed you my new carpet that I got in Mio a few weeks ago. It was time for a change so when I was there I picked up this carpet and used my voucher that I've had for about a year :) You'll never guess which colour I picked? ;)

Now I just have to buy a new table for the sitting room, I really don't like my cheap one from Ikea. It's been with me for way too long now!

Nice lamp

Emmeli had bought a lot of nice things for their new home in Vrigstad that I noticed when I was there, among other things I fell in love with a lamp that she had in their dining room. I couldn't stop thinking about it and since I've decided to pimp my apartment a bit I decided to order it on the web. I'm gonna put it up in the sitting room, I really hope it will be nice there :)

Now it's time to head to Ikea, unfortunately Lena will not come with me as she went home with a headache this afternoon :( I'm sure I'm gonna go to Ikea several times within the next few weeks so she can come with me then!

Kosta Boda snowball

I love lighting candles at this time of the year when it's getting dark and cold outside. It makes it very cosy when you're curling up on the couch :) I really like the snowball candle holder from Kosta Boda and would love to have all three sizes.

Today I'm not feeling great, went out last night with the girls and I don't think I was home until 4 o'clock this morning. Haven't slept well at all and woke up at around 9 so I haven't had enough sleep. Gonna put on "The last song"-dvd in a few minutes, I meant to see it on Friday but it got too late as I was doing a lot of other things then. Emmeli talked about it on FB and I got curios, I think we have the same taste ;) It's based on a story by Nicholas Sparks who has also written "The notebook" and I absolutely love that film, it's so beautiful. Therefore I've got high hopes for this one as well!
