The pink bracelet

Today myself and F got up quite late (around 10:30). I found my darling on the couch this morning, he went out there when he couldn't stand my heavy snoring anymore. Poor babe! I didn't have a good night's sleep at all, I woke up at around 01:00 and couldn't go back to sleep until around 04:00 again. I hate those nights!!

We had a lovely breakfast anyway with coffee, orange juice and homemade bread before we got ready to go over to the house to meet with the painter we're going to hire to do the top floor. He's gonna re-build a wall so that we get 3 bedrooms instead of just 2 and then he's gonna cover the textured wallpapers in all rooms with a filler before he paints them all white. We've also asked him to paint all the ceilings and when he's done we're gonna put in a nice oak wooden floor everywhere. I'm really looking forward to having these rooms on the top floor renovated before we move in. Later on, we might put up wallpaper on some of the walls but we're happy to start off with the white paint.

After we had been to the house we went over to my parents' house in Täby Kyrkby where we had coffee together and talked about the baby who's about to enter this world any day now. Only 1 week to go now until my due date. I think she might be ready to come out some time during next week but a lot of people think I'm gonna go passed my due date. We'll see who is right :)

My lovely mother had bought me the pink bracelet from Missoni Lindex that she gave me today. She's so thoughtful. I love it and have wanted to get it but haven't come around to it yet. It fits me perfectly!

Missoni Lindex

Yesterday at midnight the Missoni collection for Lindex was released. I had seen a few nice things but didn't feel that I HAD TO buy anything. Went to bed the normal time last night and decided to check the website this morning to see if there was anything left. Almost everything was sold out, but I found a dress that I bought for the little one ;)

Tonight myself and F went to the hospital in Danderyd for an information session that BB Stockholm had organized for us. We have chosen BB Stockholm as our first choice where I want to give birth and I must say that the session was really good and the midwife that held the session gave a really nice impression. Can't believe it's only three and a half weeks now until I'm due...

Mango favourites

Today is Saturday but I woke up early as I tend to do all the time now. We don't have any plans for the weekend other than that we have to clean up the apartment. A photographer will come here on Monday to take pictures of the apartment as we now have to put it up for sale. I hope everything goes well and that F gets what he wants for it. Shopping and house hunting

What is it with the weekends, they're just flying by. I've just realised that I've only got 6 more weeks to go before I'm going on maternity leave, it's a strange but lovely feeling :) There are 8 weeks left until my due date 21st of October, I'm nervous but I'm also really looking forward to it - exciting times ahead!

Yesterday Fredrik helped Maria & Marcus to paint the rooms in their new apartment in Sundbyberg. I love the fact that they'll be so close to us until we find a house to move to :) While they were all painting, I went into town to get a few things. I wasn't there for that long and when I came back I went over to check up on the progress. Of course I brought some cookies and vanilla buns as I figured they needed some energy to keep going ;) We all had dinner together at the local pizzeria last night.

Today F and I have been house hunting. We went to view three different houses in Täby, two in Visinge and one in Skarpäng. I fell in love with the one in Skarpäng but I'm afraid that it's going to be too expensive. We'll see how the bidding goes during the week, keep your fingers crossed because we're definitely gonna give it a go.

In between the viewings we went to Täby Centrum for lunch and I bought a coat that I've been looking at in MQ. I got a 20% discount which was great, looking forward to wearing it!

Sweaters

Sitting in the couch chilling out after a swimming session tonight. I went to the swimming pool that they have here in Sundbyberg after work, it's actually only a few hundred metres away from where we live. I swam for abut 40 mins and I love the fact that you're weightless in the water. Because when you're pregnant you're definitely not weightless above the surface ;) Anyway it was so relaxing and I think I'm gonna continue with the swimming at least once a week, for as long as I can manage.

Browsing through the web shops - as you do ;) - and found some nice sweaters in Gina Tricot's web shop. They're really nice with lovely little details and look so comfy :)

Autumn favourites

If I could, I'd probably dress like this when it gets colder again and it's time to wear some autumn clothes.

Ballerina Closet

I always end up buying shoes in the spring, even though I beforehand say that I don't need any. But the fact is that you always do, because a lot of shoes that you wear in the spring/summer time get worn out. Anyway, I already checked out Ballerina Closet last year but didn't get anything from their website. This year I decided to buy three pairs (since you get a 300 SEK discount then)! The most difficult thing was to choose which ones to get since all of the colors and patterns are lovely, I could seriously buy them all :) But after a bit of consideration I picked "Coney Mint Stories", "Pistachio Scoops" and "I say yes". I love them!

H&M News

H&M have filled their web shop with some news and I fell for a lovely maxi dress in blue. Would love to walk around in a dress like that this summer when it gets a bit warmer :) I'm waiting for spring to really kick off but not much is happening right now :(

Tomorrow is Friday and I'm really glad this week has come to an end, I need a couple of days off now. I'm still tired since my trip to Finland on Monday and Tuesday this week. On Saturday Kim, Lisa and my brother are coming over to us for dinner. I have figured out what I'll cook for them now, it's gonna be a three course dinner as always when they're over :) Can't wait to see them, it has been a while since I last saw Kim and Lisa at least!

Reebok easytone

I don't know what has happened lately but I haven't been good at updating my blog. That'll have to change I think. Right now I'm lying in bed because I'm really tired even though it's only after 9pm. I've had a really good weekend but that is over now and I was thrown into a new week once again. It don't really mind since we're going to the Maldives in less than three weeks now. I'm longing for the sun and I can't wait to take off with my darling for two relaxing weeks in the sun.

On Friday last week F and I celebrated our first anniversary. I can't believe it has been a year already. We went on our first date a cold night in February last year and one year on we're happier than ever :) To celebrate this we went out for dinner in Old Town where we enjoyed a three course dinner together. We had a lovely time and talked about that night on the 17th of February 2011 when we first met @ Fashion café in Sundbyberg. My darling - I love you to bits!

On Saturday we went to the afters of a wedding, Lina and Hilton finally got married and they looked so happy together. The dress was absolutely gorgeous on Lina, she looked stunning. Congratulations again you guys!

Earlier on that day myself and F went to Solna Centrum and he bought me a pair of Reebok Easytone trainers that I've wanted for quite some time. They were on sale in Nilsons and now I'm really excited to try them out. I'm looking forward to when the snow is gone and it gets brighter, because then I can start going out for walks in the evenings again!

I'm currently watching Sveriges Mästerkock on tv and dreaming about these shoes. I've just enjoyed a fresh mango and now I'm gonna make myself a cup of tea. Tomorrow is Thursday already, that means that there is only one more day before my baby's coming home. Can't wait for him! ♥

Sleeveless shirts

I really like the sleeveless shirts that you can see out in the shops at the moment. These two come from Vero Moda and Topshop respectively. My favourite one is the white one to the left from Vero Moda. I just checked their website a moment ago and found out that it's sold out. I'm not surprised as it's really pretty I love the details like the beads on the collar, the hidden buttons and the assymetrical shape of it!

What you can do with a shoe lace

This morning I didn't know what to wear, even though I have a lot of clothes it sometimes feels like I have nothing to put on. I like to wear blouses so after a bit of thinking I decided to put on a white blouse from H&M, but to make it a little bit more interesting I used one of F's shoe laces and made a bow.

Winter tyres on

Today I woke up with a vicious headache, I didn't get home until 3:15 this morning after dancing away at Garbo's in Sundbyberg with my colleagues. I didn't drink that much last night but it was apparently enough for me to feel like crap this morning. Got up at 9:30, took two painkillers a drank lots of water. After about an hour or so I started feeling a bit better.

After watching the Idol repeat on TV, we went out to my parents in Täby where my dad helped me fit the winter tyres to my car. I thought it'd be a good idea doing it now, before the snow starts falling. Afterwards we all had coffee and cinnamon buns together (Note: I made the cinnamon buns myself last week and brought them over).

When I flew back from Copenhagen on Thursday night, I couldn't resist buying a new handbag. I needed a bigger sized bag as I'm carrying around so much stuff lately like the Italian books and everything. This handbag is a Mimic Copenhagen bag and I fell in love as soon as I laid my eyes on it. It's black and I love the stars! It doesn't look exactly as on the picture above, the shape of it is slightly different.

At the moment we're cooking our Saturday dinner, we're having steak with roasted potatoes and vegetables (including my favourite; beetroot). I'm also having a glass of red even though I said I wouldn't drink alcohol today. Later on we're gonna watch Så mycket bättre on TV, I loved it last season so I hope it will be as good again. Silver shoes

I just love these silver shoes from Topshop, it's not something I'd normally wear but I think they're really cool. So they will be part of my fashion pick for today. Today's Friday and I'm so happy the weekend is here. I'm quite tired since I've been in Denmark for two days and had to get up so early on the Wednesday when I was flying there. Tonight it's time for AW with my colleagues. It has been a while since I joined them so I'm really looking forward to it. The plan is to go out afterwards, I can't even remember the last time I was out in town on a Friday or a Saturday night. Today I'd dress like this if I could. I got up really early this morning to fly to Copenhagen, it was raining when I got here and has been raining all day. Right now I'm sitting in the hotel room dreaming about all the lovely clothes I'd like to buy if I had the money. I'm gonna take a shower in a minute and then head straight to bed.
