Nice weather and golf

This morning I had to go over to my apartment since a photographer was coming over to take some new shots of the newly renovated bathrom (I'm finally getting there!). F and I have done a good bit of cleaning in the last couple of days to get the bathroom and the apartment in a condition for viewing again. It was the same guy that came over the last time that took the photos this morning as well. He had them taken within a few minutes so now I just need to talk to the estate agent to get everything ready for the first weekend in August. I really hope that I'll be able to sell the apartment now and hopefully with a bit of profit. Fingers crossed!

The weather has been gorgeous today and F wanted to do 9 holes at Bromma Golf so we went up there to have our lunch before we headed out. I didn't play this time but I walked with F to give him some support. The sun was out all the time and I got a bit of a tan :) Now I'm really tired so I'm resting on the couch while thinking about what to bake with my new Kitchenaid machine that was delivered last week :)

Sushi and girl talk

Saturday myself and Maria met up in the afternoon to go to the driving range to practice our golf swing. The weather wasn't great on Saturday morning but later on in the afternoon the sun came out and it was actually really warm. We met our instructor up there, he's always saying hi and cheering us on :)

After a while we felt we were done so we walked up to Brommaplan to buy an ice cream that we had outside in the sun. Then we went to get some sushi and I ordered californian rolls that were gorgeous. They had put some mayonaise on top of the rolls and it was yum!

We spent the evening in Maria's couch and talked about all and nothing, we don't get quality time with each other that often anymore so it was really nice to catch up properly. I had a lovely weekend but as always it was too short!!

Helene's Krog

Tonight myself, F, my brother and my parents went to Helene's Krog together for dinner. It was a Christmas present from my parents and my brother and my dad had their birthdays during the week so we thought it'd be a good time to go this weekend. I've never had a bad meal in there and I really like the place. F had never been there but I think he enjoyed it as much as the rest of us did. I'm still full, it was the "little" dessert that topped it off ;)

Earlier on we went to Kista Galleria and now we're just chilling at home. Tomorrow we'll hopefully go to Bromma Golf to play some golf with Marcus & Maria and to check out Lena completing her beginners course ;) It's supposed to be rainy but I hope the rain will be limited so that we can go out there on the golf course and have some fun! I bought some golf clubs during the week that I want to try out as well :)

Bowling and golf

Last night my darling had arranged for a night out and I didn't know what he was up to. We went into town in the evening and ended up at Marions Gastro Diner where we had a game of bowling and then dinner afterwards. We haven't been out and about for a while so I really appreciated it. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed drinks and a very nice dinner. I wasn't that good at the bowling, but really enjoyed it anyway. It was a good workout, he he ;)

Today Maria and I had decided to go to Bromma Golf together to practise a bit and to give the theory test a go. I have been studying the golf rules in the past while in order to be prepared but I was still a bit nervous about it. I thought it was only gonna be multiple answer questions but there were actually ten free text questions and when I first saw them I was a bit shocked. But both myself and Maria did very well and our instructor who corrected the tests said that we almost got a 100% test result. Needless to say we're happy about passing the test! :)

We enjoyed a lovely lunch at the golf restaurant before we left for Bromma Blocks. We hardly ever go shopping together anymore and were looking forward to that, but we didn't really find anything. Maria bought a top though and I bought a cardigan but I guess it's better to keep our money instead ;)

Now I'm at home while my baby is at the cinema with a friend. I've been watching the football match between Holland and Denmark and fair play to Denmark for winning!

9 holes became 18

Today we had agreed with M & M to play nine holes at Bromma Golf since at least myself and Maria need to practice after the course we took two weeks ago. Our official start time was 10:20 but we all met up before that to warm up at the range. I was a bit nervous since it was my first time playing, but I thoroughly enjoyed it especially since the weather was really good today. I didn't play that well, but it was certainly good to practice. We were quite tired after the nine holes so we decided to have lunch there out in the sun. I had a lovely prawn sallad and then coffee after that :)

After a bit of rest we started thinking about playing the nine holes again (since they don't have 18 holes at Bromma Golf, you're allowed to do the nine holes a second time) and after a bit of consideration that's what we decided to do. I did some better shots this time around but towards the end I was really really tired and found it quite difficult to focus. Tonight F has gone out for a few beers and I'm left in the apartment. I'm gonna sleep really well tonight I tell ya, but first it's time for a film. I just don't know which one to pick yet ;)

Golf

Last weekend myself and Maria spent in total 12 hours at Bromma Golf as we had registered for a beginners course. I was really worried about what the weather was going to be like but we were very lucky. It didn't rain at all, and on Sunday the sun was shining pretty much all day and we even got a bit of a color when we spent 2 hours on the golf course playing 9 holes in two teams. It was really difficult but so much fun!

The course was very good and divided into several parts. We got to try chipping and putting, we did some bunker shots and also practiced several shots using both iron clubs and the driver. I really enjoyed every moment of it, now it's up to myself to really practice as much as I can. Below you can see some pics from the weekend.
