Short week

This weekend flew by, just like any other weekend. Tomorrow is Monday again but at least I have a short week ahead of me, I'm off on Friday :) Reckon it's gonna be an early night for me tonight, I woke up at 5 o'clock this morning and couldn't go back to sleep. It's so typical, that always happens to me when I'm planning to catch up on my sleep :( Anyway, went out to Täby today to change to winter tyres and my dad and brother were nice to help me. It got a wash and I cleaned it on the inside as well, feels good!

After that I went back to my brothers place, we were going through some finance stuff - very interesting ;) Decided to walk over to Täby centrum as well when I was there and bumped into Kim, Lisa and Benjamin. Benjamin wasn't interested in saying hello to me at first, but after a while I got a bit of a smile out of him, he he.

Watching a few episodes of Gossip Girl now, then it's time to hit the pillow. Gonna try to get up early tomorrow morning, I'd say I have a busy day ahead of me with the go live of the project we've been working on for so long. Wish us luck!

Dinner with Maria

Soon I'm gonna get ready to head into Fridhemsplan where I'm meeting up with Maria. We're gonna go out for dinner tonight, we hardly ever do that so we thought it was time to do it for once :) I think we might go to Primo Ciao Ciao but I'm not sure. Looking forward to seeing her and to having a glass of red wine ;)

Good Customer Service

Wow, I don't think I've ever experienced such good customer service - EVER. I ordered some tops from nelly.com. I know I shouldn't buy clothes BUT I really needed some basic tops so that is the ONLY thing I ordered - promise! 3 t-shirts in black, white and green and 2 long sleeved tops in black and white from Rut m.fl.

Anyway, I had some problems when placing the order. I had filled in all my master card details and when I pressed the go button something happened. All of a sudden the whole website seemed to be down. Had to wait for about 20 minutes and tried again. This time it worked and I got on order confirmation as well. Logged in to the website of my bank and noticed that the money had been withdrawn twice so I wrote an email to their customer service straight away. This was done on the website, very user friendly by the way. When I had sent the email it said that I should have an answer by 16 minutes. Within two minutes someone got back to me :) They said they would put the money back straight away, that they wouldn't send the same order twice and wished me a nice weekend. I'm impressed! :D

Housewarming party :)

Tidy up

Today is gonna be a very productive day I've decided. I have to clean up my apartment properly, not only the standard things like hoovering, dusting, scrubbing the bathroom etc. I need to go through drawers, put some things in the cellar, throw out things that I don't need, organise jewellery and so on. It will take some time, I know, but I'm gonna start and I'm hoping to have time for a lot of the stuff on my list anyway. Boring? Yes, but it feels so good afterwards.

Last night's afterwork was really nice. As always, the Customer Service representatives were the last ones standing ;) Well, that is not entirely true, Petra represented planning very well ;) We decided to walk over to another Oktoberfest party in the building of her former employer. Stayed there for a while watching the competitions going on, but then it was time to leave. I was really tired so I went home but the others moved on! :)

Oktoberfest

Today they've organised for an after work here in the office for everyone, we're gonna have an Oktoberfest! :) They've bought different types of beer so we're gonna have a bit of a tasting session, I'm looking forward to it.

Before that I have to go to the gym, gonna go down there at lunch time. I think 30 mins on the crosstrainer is in order this Friday and some sit ups on top of that!

Melissa Horn

This is one of my smaller layouts, the photo is taken at Mosebacke when myself and the girls went to see Melissa Horn play. I remember that night, it was a warm summer's night and we all had a really good time :)

Candleholder

I'm looking for a candleholder, or rather a tray that will fit 4 big candles plus some decorations. I've been trying to search around but cannot seem to find a good one. Spending my time right now on the Internet but nothing nice has appeared yet. Does anybody have any tips?

Created a layout this evening of some photos from when myself and Maria went down to Gothenburg to watch U2 play in the summer of 2009. We had such a great weekend down there and bumped in to the Norwegian lads as well.

What to do

I'm a bit worried about little L, why did she not sign up for the Duved trip yet!? Well I'm not really that worried, I know she will in time, I just need to give her a couple of days ;) She thinks she's not good at skiing but she is! She's just not patient enough.. Now Lena, listen to me: "Sign up tomorrow and I promise you we're gonna make it the best trip ever! It's not all about the skiing you know ;)"

Pancakes

I'm having pancakes for dinner and it's yummy :) Haven't had pancakes or waffles for such a long time but today I was craving it. Have been feeling a bit low all day, don't know if I'm just tired or whether it's something else. Well you can't be on top all the time!

The weather is horrible outside and since I came back to the apartment I'm freezing. Gonna have a warm shower in a minute and then I think I'm gonna curl up in the sofa with a hot cup of chocolate. Perhaps that will make me feel better ;)

The Mare

Just doing the last couple of things in work before myself and Jessica are heading into town to meet up with Vickan. We're gonna get a bite to eat and then we're gonna watch the Mare play at Pet Sounds Bar. Our dear colleague Daniel plays in the band and I'm really excited to hear him play :)

Oskar Linnros

Yay I have just bought tickets for a concert at Berns in November, we're gonna go and see Oskar Linnros. I really like his album and I'm looking forward to seeing him live. He's playing Friday and Saturday night 26th and 27th of November but those concerts sold out quite quickly. So we're gonna see him in the afternoon on the 27th as he's organised for an extra concert that day :)

Good start

This morning started at 6 o'clock when my alarm went off. I pressed the snooze button only once but then I almost jumped out of bed ;) Took the bus to the gym and went to the bodypump class like I had planned, it was from 7 - 8 o'clock. Bumped into a colleague of mine, Petra, who apparently had the same thing in mind ;) It was great, I feel so good now and it's such a great start of the day!

Need to change to winter tyres

Couldn't go to work by car this morning, slippery roads are scary and I still have my summer tyres on. The plan was to change to winter tyres yesterday but we were way too tired when we got home so I will have to do it another time. Hopefully this weekend or something.

I'm just home from choir, gonna stay up for another while but then the plan is to go to bed. I've decided to go to the bodypump class @ 7 tomorrow morning so I will need some rest ;)

Tomorrow night Daniel is gonna play with his band @ Pet Sounds Bar and I really wanna see him play so I'm gonna head there after work with Jessica!

This is one of my favourite songs ever and it has been a while since I listened to this version. The lads are brilliant but Kurt Nielsen is simply outstanding!

Tired

Had a lovely evening with the family last night and the soup was yummy! Benjamin was happy and stayed up quite late and we all had a great time together. Heading back with the ferry now, I'm really tired as I didn't sleep very well last night. Hopefully I will have some energy to go to the bodypump class later, will need to get some food into me.

The week ahead is gonna be a very busy week and it's now only one week left til go live of the project that we've been working on for the last few months. I hope everything goes well. On top of that I have meeting after meeting and a good few things that I need to look at and prepare. I need a good night sleep tonight in order to be full of energy for the week!

Early bird

Getting up early today as Jens and I are heading over to Åland with the ferry from Kapellskär that leaves 9:45. We're gonna be in our summer house tonight with family and relatives. Mam is making her famous fish soup that everybody LOVES! :) Looking forward to seeing everybody again, I hope I get to play a bit with Benjamin.

Go Minnah!

I'm so glad that Minnah is back in Idol, I was actually quite sad to see her go last week. Since Alice decided to leave the programme Minnah was called back :) She has just performed Twist and shout and did it brilliantly, you go girl!

Ski trip to Duved/Åre

Today we finally received the email we've been waiting for, an email about our ski trip with work. We're going 3-7 of February next year and this time we're heading to Duved/Åre. We've rented a hotel in Duved and the first 50 people get to go! Of course I signed up straight away ;) Can't wait and it's nice to have something to look forward to. It brings back some memories from this year's trip, I had such a great time! :)

Concert 21st of November

Received an email tonight regarding the concert with my choir :) You can get tickets on Ticnets website but you have to wait until Monday ;)

Pink layout

Created a layout on Sunday with a photo of me and Emmeli when I was there in May. It's a smaller layout, the smaller ones are for the photobook that I got from Jessica for my birthday. Will need to develop some more photos soon again in smaller sizes so that I can put more than one or two photos on the layouts that I create. But this will do for now ;)

Doing the laundry

Tonight it's time to do the laundry again. I've put in the first loads and now I'm gonna take a long warm shower since I've just come home from the gym. Ran 5 kms on the threadmill after work, I really needed it. Afterwards I'm gonna get something to eat and then I just want to sit in front of the telly. I'm gonna watch Robinson that I'm trying to follow. Missed Bonde söker fru last night since I went to the cinema so will probably look it up as well and watch it on TV4 play.

Nice boots from Din sko

I really like these boots from Din Sko, I like all of the details and the fact that the soles are thicker. When the snow is coming to stay, there will be no problems walking in it with these boots. I will have to think about it, hope Din sko will keep these boots in the shops for a while.

Cinema night with my mam

Went to the cinema after work today to see Hämnden that I've wanted to see for a while. Met up with my mam at Hötorgshallen where we had a bite to eat before we headed to the cinema. It's a really good film, but very emotional. Mikael Persbrandt is doing a very good job and I recommend it to everyone - go and see Hämnden!

New calendar for 2011

Soon it's time to order a new calendar for 2011. There is a website where you can order a personalized calendar that I used last year and this year they have introduced some new features that I like :) For example you can use photos for the back and front and there are more sizes to choose from. I know a lot of people these days use electronic calendars (i.e. mobiles, Outlook) but I still like the old fashioned way!
