Tonight we've been invited to an event at Collage that Louise's friends have organised. They have started up a new site called damrummet.se. Myself, Lena, Maria, Sofia, Louise and Jessica are going there after work, will be nice.

Disappointed

I'm so f*cking disappointed. What a coward and talk about NOT taking responsibility!

Celebration dinner

Tonight I've been at Lifestyle Livingroom & Dining together with the Victoria project members at Rosenlundsgatan 14. We were invited to a celebration dinner since we had such a successful implementationof the Victoria project the 1st of November. We started off with an activity where we were tought how to make cocktails and drinks :) Everyone could try it out behind the bar and we were shown how to make a dry martini, a mojito and a B52 shot with the 3 layers (the last one was a bit tricky). We had a lot of fun and afterwards we enjoyed a lovely three course dinner which consisted of lobster soup, lamb with roasted vegetables and a lovely chocolate cake - yum! :)

Midsummer layout

I love these pictures from midsummer when we were a big group of people at Smedsudden. We were playing kubb, ate nice food and had lots of fun. This is a layout that I created during my scrapbooking marathon with Emmeli just over a week ago :)

Nice outfit

A while back I told you that I sent Conn a card and I also bought him a little outfit with Winnie the Pooh. Ciarán posted a photo on FB yesterday and look how gorgeous Conn looks in the outfit ;) Me like!

A taste of what is to come

Just back from a session with the choir. Tonight Salem al Fakir, who is one of the guest artists on Sunday, cared to join us so that we could sing together. He seemed happy with anything that we did, it will be a good concert ;) Good song, 4 o'clock and Keep on Walking are the songs that we're gonna sing with Salem, can't wait now!

Need a new laptop

Arrghhh my laptop is starting to act up on me, today I got the blue screen :( I've had the laptop for about 4,5 years so I know it's about time to get a new one but I don't want it to break before I have enough money to buy a new one.

I think I'm gonna get a macbook this time and I'm currently looking at macbook pro. Will have to look around a bit more so that I know for sure what I want when it's time to buy it. Any suggestions are welcome :)

Mollys scrapbooking

Yay, today I received an email that said I'm now a subscriber of the monthly kits from Mollys scrapbooking. I love their kits and I'm so looking forward to receiving them in the post :)

Miss Dior Cherie

The perfume that I currently use is Miss Dior Cherie Eau The Parfum, I love the scent and I also love the bottle ♥

Ice Hockey

Another layout that I created when I was in Vrigstad last weekend is made with photos from when myself, Jonas and dad went to watch my brother play ice hockey a couple of years ago. This time I used a glimmer mist spray in red and and also on top a golden shimmer mist spray. I like the effect you get from it :)

Afterwards, Antonia wondered whether it was me who had sprayed down all her stuff on the table ;) What can I say, I'm not the pro that I'd like to be at this stage. As you can see, the photos also got a bit of spray - woops!

Squeezed in

Finally I bought my shelf at Ikea :) When my brother and I came to pick it up though, I thought they had run out of the shelves. But just as we asked, we realised that they had just placed them somewhere else nearby and we just didn't see them. Bumped into Lillemor when I was there as well :)

Got back and carried up the shelf to my apartment, thank God Jens was kind enough to help me because it was quite heavy. We decided to carry down my old shelf to the car and drive to the recycle station to get rid of it straight away. We put in the shelf in my little car, then Jens said that he was just gonna go and park his car so that we could go together in my car. When he came back, we both realised that we weren't both gonna fit into my car as well as the shelf. Well, that is what we thought but then I said that I could squeeze into the drivers seat (or not the seat, more down on the floor in front of the seat). I don't know how I managed to get in there but it worked!! We had so much fun while we were at it, I can't remember the last time I lauged so hard ;)

Good morning

Good morning everyone! I'm still a bit tired and wondering why I got up so early, but I have to since I'm meeting up my brother at Ikea and I have to get ready and eat some breakfast as well before I head off. Hopefully I'll have time to go through everything that is placed in my old book shelf as well so that I can just set up the new shelf when I get back and put everything back in again. Sorry, I'm not gonna put EVERYTHING back in, I'm definitely gonna throw out a lot of it since you seem to collect so much stuff throughout the years that you don't need and only take up space!!

Polar Bear Award

The project team for the SAP implementation for Norway was nominated for the Polar Bear Award in work today and won it :) We're all very proud! Each month anyone gets to nominate a person or a team if they think that they've done something extraordinary. This time it was our turn and now the polar bear lives with us in customer service until it's time to give him away again next month.

Brother and sister

Finally Friday, I'm so glad it's the weeekend. I've got nothing planned apart from organising things in my apartment. I'm meeting up with my brother tomorrow and going to Ikea, I need help to carry the shelf I was talking about earlier in the week ;)

Haven't had the time to do any scrapbooking during the week so I decided to give it a go again tonight. Curious as I am, I started reading about distress ink and what you can do with it. I've seen a lot of nice layouts where people have used this and I wanted to try it out. Here is the result:

Fishing

These photos bring back memories :) My parents, Jens and I were in Mauritius in January 2009 and decided to go on a fishing trip. It was a day trip so we knew we were gonna be on the boat for 8 hours. Already after 15 minutes, we understood that it was gonna be a looooong trip. The waves were really big and both mam and my brother started feeling sick. Jens ended up throwing up 7 times during the day, my mam was lying down throughout the whole trip. I worked really hard on pretending I was not feeling sick and dad was the only one feeling alright ;) Luckily we caught some fish, otherwise it would have been a waste of a trip. I decided to create a layout with some of these photos and this time I said to myself that I wasn't gonna be afraid of mixing colours. I like this layout a lot!

Owl earring

About a week ago I was in Panduro to get a few things and then I found such cute owls that I couldn't resist (like with so many other things ;)). I made pair of earrings and wore them today for the first time.

Too heavy

I'm back from my trip to Ikea and Mio, it was nice to have a look around because there were not many people there at all. Plenty of space and no stress ;) I found a lovely carpet in purple at Mio that I really like. I had planned to buy a shelf from Ikea as well but it was too heavy and I wouldn't have been able to carry it upstairs to my apartment on my own so I'm gonna have to wait until this weekend to see if somebody could be kind to help me. I bought all of the boxes to go with it though and some candles as always, so at least I don't have to bring that home the next time as well as the shelf!

Nice lamp

Emmeli had bought a lot of nice things for their new home in Vrigstad that I noticed when I was there, among other things I fell in love with a lamp that she had in their dining room. I couldn't stop thinking about it and since I've decided to pimp my apartment a bit I decided to order it on the web. I'm gonna put it up in the sitting room, I really hope it will be nice there :)

Now it's time to head to Ikea, unfortunately Lena will not come with me as she went home with a headache this afternoon :( I'm sure I'm gonna go to Ikea several times within the next few weeks so she can come with me then!

Linapyssel Blog candy

Through my scrapbooking friend Emmeli, I found out that a scrapbooking friend of hers is celebrating over 10 000 blog visitors with a blog candy. I visited her blog Linapyssel today and found a lot of inspirational stuff :) I realise that my new hobby is very time consuming and also expensive but at the same time it gives me so much joy! Of course it would be very nice to win this blog candy so I'm all in ;)

Up in the air

Want to show another layout from the weekend. This time I used a sketch that Emmeli had done :) I used photos (that I absolutely love!!) from when Maria, Lena and myself had some fun in my apartment before we were going out one night in 2009. The layout is quite simple itself and I used a paper punch to cut out the butterflies :)

Knitting leg warmers

I've had a lovely evening (as always) together with Lena. We've talked about taking up knitting several times and decided that tonight was the night. We went to Ica Maxi after work and picked up knitting needles and yarn. Since neither of us could remember how to do it, we watched a couple of youtube videos and after that we gave it a go. I must say it went well and now we're both loving it ;) But we haven't seen the end result yet so I'll give you an update later! ha ha

Ikea

I really wanted to go to Ikea today. Lena and I had decided to take a trip tonight but we both realise now that it was not the smartest idea. With this snow storm it's probably best to stay in. As soon as we finish up here in work we're gonna get a Thai take away and go to her place for some quality time in the sofa ;) Looking forward to it!

Feel so frustrated at the moment, I really wish things were different and that I could see at least one step in the right direction.. It's not fair!!

Layout for the November challenge

As you know, Emmeli and I had time for a lot of scrapbooking this weekend, I managed to do 7 layouts and a card :) One layout was for the November challange for Svensk Scrapbooking and I'm quite happy with it. I love the colours and Emmeli was nice to let me use some of her flowers :) She also has a Cuttlebug which is a machine that you can use to cut out whatever you want, for example flowers, shapes, letters etc. I used that to cut out the pink letters on top. The rest of the material I had brought with me for the weekend.
