Ready to start a fight

My broadband at home stopped working a few weeks ago, it's probably over a month now. I thought there was a problem with the wireless but then realised that I couldn't even connect using a LAN cable. Have to ring Telia to see if they can help me but my experience with them is not the best. A few years back when I moved into my apartment here in Bromma, I didn't have a working broadband connection for months since they refused to help me and referred me to different departments all the time. I'm prepared for a similar fight again. Have left it for so many weeks now cause I'm dreading it but I should probably just lift the phone and ring them now. Wish me luck!

Shitty weather

I hate this shitty weather, it's dark and cold when you wake up. When you finally manage to wake up and you look out the window, it's raining and it's so dull you don't want to go out. You don't exactly feel energized those mornings! :(

One more..

This is a lot of fun :) Managed to create another layout this evening, used a photo of me and my brother from when he graduated in Eskilstuna a few years back. I will probably go on and do a lot more layouts this weekend as it is so de-stressing and exactly what I need to do to shake off all the stress from work.



It's a fun way of displaying photos that you like and you can really work on the details. I'm gonna try to make a little photo album of my first few layouts, if I continue with this. I know Emmeli wants me to, but we'll just see if I have the patience ;)

Before I go to bed tonight I'm gonna listen to some of the songs on our cd that we got from Putte & Lasse last week. That way we can practice at home. Can't wait until we start practicing the song "Fields of gold". It is one of my favourite songs all time and love the Eva Cassidy version of it!

Visitors

Emmeli is such a cutie! After she had read my blog post the other day where I had put up the layout I created of the two of us, she wrote on her popular blog and put up a link to my blog. I haven't had as many visitors to my blog as I did yesterday :)

Miss her loads, went down to Vrigstad in May to see her for a weekend but it feels like ages ago now.. Hope we can meet up soon again so that we can catch up. Love you darling ♥

Good start of the day

Got up at 6:45 this morning and got ready to go to the gym. At the gym I did the cross trainer, the rowing machine and some weights. Felt great afterwards and it's such a good start of the day :)

Work has been hectic as always, we're progressing with the testing but not as fast as I'd hoped which is a bit worrying. Next week we're gonna be in Norway again and that is the last week of the testing.

Got home at around 6pm and created a layout with a photo of myself and Lena from the summer of 2009 when we were at Gröna Lund. Wanted to create another layout but realised that I haven't had dinner yet so better get something to eat and in a few minutes Idol starts on TV.

The days are normally ok in work now but in the evenings and at the weekends I do a lot of thinking, I don't like the fact that I think so much because I don't feel good when I do..

So tired

I'm really tired tonight, worked very hard all day. After work it was time for some singing again, I really enjoy those 90 minutes :) It's a great way to spend Monday nights and Putte & Lasse are always in a good mood!

Tomorrow I want to go to the gym before work, looking forward to doing some weights. Lina and I had agreed to meet up tomorrow night but she texted me earlier on today to say she had to cancel. I'm probably just gonna go home and do some scrapbooking tomorrow night again ;)

Scrapbooking

I thought it was time to give scrapbooking a try again since I have some material to work with at home. Created a layout on a board this evening, used an old photo of myself and Emmeli when I visited her in Vrigstad about 3-4 years ago. I quite like it but there are some details on it that I'm not very happy with. Oh well, practice makes perfect right!?



Have a terrible headache now, it has gotten much worse since this morning. The sofa is calling, I don't think I can do anything other than watching TV for the rest of the night ;)

Lazy Sunday

Today is gonna be a very lazy Sunday for me, I have no plans and I'm not gonna make any either. Might have the energy later to clean up a bit, I need to go through all my summer shoes and put them away for the winter, I think I can throw some of them out as well.

Had a great night at Robin's last night, the time flew by. A lot of people from work were there, it's nicer to meet them outside work :) Jessica and I took the night bus home from Jakobsberg at 3am and it was closer to 4am before we arrived to St:Eriks plan. Took a taxi from there and then I more or less fell into bed. Luckily I managed to sleep until 11:20 this morning so I got a few hours sleep. I have a bit of a headache today but I actually thought it was gonna be worse. If I just get some breakfast into me I should be fine..

I wonder how the party Lena went to last night was, she was going to a 80's party :) I'm looking forward to seeing the photos later!

Björn Borg boots

Woke up at 7:56 this morning and couldn't fall asleep again. Isn't that typical, I had planned to stay in bed much longer this Saturday but that just didn't happen!? Had a lovely breakfast and then I've been trying to organise my photos (again!). It takes such a long time but I've finally managed to order two photo books from Fuji direkt. One is containing all the photos from our Mauritius trip in January 2009 and the other photo book is containing pictures from Thailand, Rhodes and Vemdalen this year. Can't wait to get them in the post!

I have also ordered a pair of winter boots now. I just flicked through the Ellos catalogue that came with the post yesterday and noticed a pair of Björn Borg boots in dark brown, they're exactly what I had imagined when thinking about buying a new pair. The best thing is that Ellos always gives you discount offers so I got 40% off the boots when I ordered them. They cost 1499 SEK but I got them for 899 SEK instead, that's quite a good deal I reckon! :)

No Hoffmaestro :(

I was really looking forward to tonight and the fact that Hoffmaestro was playing at Gröna Lund. Jessica and I left work at around 5pm to meet up with Vickan in the office where she works. We had dinner together and a beer each. After an hour or so we decided to walk to Slussen to take the ferry over to Gröna Lund. There was a big queue down the stairs to the ferry and we were waiting there for a while. People started coming back out saying that Gröna Lund was packed and that they wouldn't let more people in. They didn't even let people on the ferry...:( Jessica rang her friend who was already there and she also confirmed that Gröna Lund was absolutely jammed with people. We decided not to go there in the end, there was no point. So we headed to Ljunggrens for some drinks and chatted away instead. It was a bit of a pity but I've had a good night anyway. Back home now and I'm so tired after a busy week again. Gonna watch a couple of episodes of True Blood I reckon before I go to bed. Wanna get some rest so I feel fit for fight tomorrow when Robin is having his housewarming party!!

Visitor

Had a little visitor in the office this afternoon. Daniel kept quiet about it but a little while ago he came into us with his daughter Kerstin and surprised us all :) What a little cutie she is!

Lunch at Strix

For the first time in ages I brought my own lunch with me and I was so determined to have my lunch in the office. Talked to Jessica to ask her what her lunch plan was and she tells me that she and the guys are going to Strix - d*mn! I love that place so I will just have to put my lunch box aside so that I can join them :)

Later on this evening we're heading to Gröna Lund (might be the last time this year) to watch Hoffmaestro play at 20:00. Looking forward to it and I hope the weather will be as nice as it has been all week!

Apple pie

It was so nice to see Ellinor again, we don't see each other often but it's great whenever we do meet up.

Had made a pasta salad with grilled chicken, sundried tomatoes, feta cheese, tomatoes, cucumber, avocado etc. Since she's so good at cooking herself I was worried she was gonna hate my simple pasta salad but she said she really liked it :) For dessert I had made an apple pie and I'm not normally mad about apple pies but when I was at my parents house last weekend my mam hade made it for me and I got the recipe.

Follow these steps:
Preheat the oven to 175 degrees. Melt the butter and stir together with all other ingredients except the apples. Then peel and slice the apples and place them in a dish. Then cover with the mixture and bake the pie in the oven for about 30 minutes. Serve with custard or vanilla flavoured cream.

You Need:
5-6 apples
150 grams butter
3 cups oatmeal
2 cups sugar
½ cup light syrup
1 ½ cup flour

Couldn't be easier to make and it tastes sooooo good! :)

The project is killing us

Today myself, Lena and Maria all left work at around 15:30 and it was soooo nice to get home early :) I sleep very well and get the 8hrs every night that I need, but I'm still tired. It's a different type of tiredness, your mind is tired. So we all decided we needed a break. Well, Lena is on medication right now and gets very sleepy from it so I don't blame her for going home and Maria thought she was getting a cold. I don't have such an excuse but I feel like I need a bit of rest anyway.

Went to Ica Maxi to buy some food for tonight. Forgot to buy the vanilla sauce for the dessert but texted Ellinor to see if she could get some on the way here. When I walked around in the supermarket I noticed that Ica had put up a sign to say that they have unfortunately run out of Flora but more is to come tomorrow. That's a good sign (well it's not good that the shelf is empty but Flora has just been re-launched in Sweden and it seems like people are buying it)!

Tonight I'm gonna catch up with Ellinor and we're gonna look at some pictures from my holidays this summer. Will have to get some of the photos developed as I want to do some scrapbooking soon. I have some material at home waiting for me!

Back in the game

I'm really happy with myself right now as I went to the gym yesterday and managed to go out for a run tonight after work. I hope I'll be able to keep up with it as well, I need to clear my head after all these busy work days. Especially during the testing phase it's really important to do other things to get your mind off work. I'm gonna sleep well tonight anyway, I can tell you that!

Watching Idol 2010 on TV, you know the autumn is here when that programme starts. Every day when I get home from work now, I have to turn the lights on in my apartment :( I don't like the fact that it's getting so dark..

Tomorrow night I'm gonna have Ellinor coming over for dinner, I still haven't decided what to make for her. I really need to clean the apartment before she comes as well, don't know when I'm gonna have time to do that (don't fancy doing it right now but I know I will probably have to). Haven't seen Elli since my birthday so it's gonna be nice to catch up with her again!

Boomerang jacket

A couple of weeks ago I bought the classic Boomerang jacket in brown for the winter. I have wanted to buy that jacket since last winter and was really happy when I saw it in the Boomerang shop in Kista Galleria. Can't wait to wear it, it's so warm and cosy! :)

Go Sweden

Tonight it's time for yet another football match; Sweden - San Marino. Go Sweden, we need to score a lot of goals! The match is shown on TV10, the new channel, and I was worried I was not gonna have it but it's ok since ComHem provides it.

I'm just home from work and I'm sooooo tired, got up at 6 o'clock this morning to go to the gym as I had promised myself that I would do. Went on the cross trainer, rowing machine and did some weights and it felt gooood! I reckon I'm gonna be sore tomorrow but then I will just have to go for a run or something to soften up ;)

"Sjung nu"

Had our first singing session this evening with Lasse and Putte. I really enjoyed it as always, joined level 3 this semester. We sang four songs together and they revealed the guest artist for this semester's concert at 21st of November, was happy to hear who it was :)

Meant to go to the gym today during the day but didn't have time due to all the testing in work. Going to bed early this evening so that I can get up early tomorrow instead and go to the gym before work. Can't wait to get into the training again, I haven't been good at that during the summer. It's really important especially now when I have so much work.

Puss

Went to the cinema tonight for the first time in ages and watched the film "Puss". Different but good. Maria and Louise kept me company this time and it was nice as always. Reckon there's gonna be a lot of visits to the cinema this autumn.

Getting tired now so I'm soon gonna hit the pillow, have another busy week in work ahead of me. Tomorrow night it's time for some singing, I'm joining the "Sjung Nu"-choir again since I enjoyed it so much this spring :)

Relaxing Saturday

Woke up at 9:30 this morning and got up to watch "Nyhetsmorgon". I'm now watching "So you think you can dance", i just love that programme and the amount of great dancers on the show - it's unbelievable!

Dad just rang me to say that the car now runs as it should :) The battery has been changed and it starts without any problem - thanks daddy! Gonna have a shower in a second and then I'm heading out to Täby centrum to have a look in the shops. Don't worry I'm not gonna spend any money (I've promised myself!), but I wanna have a look at boots for the winter. I need to buy a pair later on so I need to see what's out there ;)

Went to O'Learys at Rådhuset last night to watch the football match with Jessica and Vickan. We were there at around 7 and managed to get a little table at the bar which was good. Jessica had tried to book a table earlier but without any luck. We asked for a menu so that we could order some food but they refused to serve us! The bar staff said we could only order after the football match and another waitress said she was busy with other tables. If they are not able to serve people food they should not allow so many people in - talk about bad customer service!

Sweden won and scored 2 goals - happy days. After the match we went to Orangeriet for some more drinks. Jonas was also at O'Learys so exchanged a few words with him before we left, haven't seen him since June.

Later on I'm joining mam and dad for dinner, we're gonna have a little crayfish party. The first one for me this year. Staying the night in Täby and tomorrow I'm heading back to Bromma again.

Football tonight

Tonight I'm gonna watch Sweden play against Hungary - go Sweden!! We're heading to a pub to watch the game but I don't know which one yet, waiting for Jessica to call me :) Thank God we're gonna be in a warm pub, it has gotten so cold.

I'm glad this week is over, it has been a tough one in many ways. Looking forward to have a lie in tomorrow morning because I need some sleep. Not gonna do much tomorrow, just heading out to Täby to pick up my car at some stage. Hopefully the car will be fine after the battery change.

Thought I would never get home

Today it was time to leave Oslo again to head home, of course our flight was delayed. We left the office at 16:30 and I'm only home now at 22:00. Apparently the flight was delayed due to a technical problem with the plane, but then they told us that it was time for boardning about 15 mins later and that a bus would take us to another plane. We got on it without any problems but then there were more technical problems. They needed help to start the engines but there was something wrong with the starting unit so we were sitting on the plane for about an hour or even longer. Finally they got it working but then it was 20:00 and we should have left 18:30. Arrived to Arlanda ok and grabbed a taxi but then there was a lot of traffic due to road works. Thought I was never gonna get home! Lying in bed now but gonna go to sleep, I'm wrecked...

Hectic day

Wrecked after a really hectic day, we have worked very hard all day with hardly any breaks. We're making progress slowly but surely, hopefully it'll start to show even more tomorrow. Tonight we have been to an Italian restaurant just around the corner from the hotel, before that we went out to have a look in the shops. Maria was looking for a jacket but couldn't find any. I was afraid to go into any shops since I'm not allowed to spend any money, but luckily I didn't. Paid 2200 SEK to get my car fixed last week (well that is what I thought!), but apparently my battery is dead as well so need to get a new one. My dad and my brother are going to help me with that this week I think. Can't wait to have my car back again, I haven't driven it since mid July.
