Denmark here we come

Have had a productive day in work today, I've collected a lot of information regarding different processes so now I have a lot to do trying to summarise it all. We'll see if I have some time after the dinner tonight at the hotel. Heading to Arlanda airport now to fly to Copenhagen, we'll meet up with the rest of the team when we get there and then we're going to a sushi restaurant for dinner. Anita has good taste so I trust her choice of restaurant :)

Scrapbooking draw - Magdas

Just found out from Emmeli when reading her blog that Magda's scrapbooking is organising a draw where you can win a big scrapbooking parcel worth 399 SEK. Since I've only started my scrapbooking career, it would be nice to win this so that I have enough material to try things out with :)

Disappointing result

I don't know why I keep thinking that Sweden is gonna play better than they are actually capable of. I'm disappointed, I thought they would do a much better job than they did :(

I'm tired now, I think it's time to head to bed. Tomorrow I'm heading to Denmark in the afternoon, the team is there for a full day meeting for Thursday but we're all going out for dinner together tomorrow. I'm gonna get to see the new Danish office for the first time as well, looking forward to it!

I'm not gonna be able to go to the gym again until Friday but I've made a deal with Lena to go there on Friday morning :) She has finally decided to get back into the training, woho!

And the winner is.........ME!!!!!!!!!!!! Lena and I are gonna watch the football together tonight so we thought that we'd get some sweets :) We both like lots and LOTS of sweets, but no matter what I always end up buying the most among all my friends. I blame my mam ;) There was always all sorts of sweets in the house when I grew up and now I'm taking after her!

Energy massage

Had a lovely start this morning even though it was an early one ;) I had an energy massage appointment with a lady that came into work to do it - felt great afterwards! After that I had a 4 hour meeting and then I went down to the gym for a run. I feel stronger than ever, perhaps complementing my training with bodypump sessions is doing the trick :)

Monday over

I was watching a film last night, "Dear John", and I stayed up until 00:30. Slept really well after that but I was extremely tired when I woke up this morning and have been tired all day. It was worth it though, it was a really good film. After work today I met up with Gabriella and Louise for choir practice and we had a lot of fun as always :)

Watched "Biggest Looser" when I got home and finally managed to synchronize my Iphone with my Itunes music library. Yesterday when I was trying it just wouldn't work so I got really annoyed, but today I re-set the Iphone so everything works now - finally!

Tomorrow I'm gonna get some energy massage at work 8:00. Better get some sleep so I'm not as tired tomorrow. Sleep well everyone!

Every time I visit my cousin, he is always greeting me in his.....boxers!!! I'm so used to it now that I don't even think it's strange anymore. I'm not sure what other people would think though ;)

Johnossi - What's the Point

Idol, coffee and time to catch up with everything

Last night was the first night I slept throughout the whole night in a week, went to bed around 1am and woke up at 10am this morning - nice! I've had a lovely weekend so far. On Friday I went out to Kim, Lisa and Benjamin for dinner and a proper catch up. I got to see Benjamin walk around the house instead of crawling and we were looking at photos, drinking wine and chatting away!

When I first got there, Benjamin looked at me with sceptism and was wondering who I was. He was holding on to mam and dad for dear life ;) But after a while he started interacting with me as I was talking to him and when it was time for bed Lisa was holding him but then he looked over and reached out for me. My heart melted ;)

Stayed the night in Vallentuna but had to get up quite early yesterday morning in order to get ready and to go back to Maria's. We were going to Berns Asiatiska for brunch together. The food was nice and we had a great time but I don't think it was worth the 355 SEK I was paying for it, I wasn't that impressed to be honest. I actually prefer more of a traditional brunch with bread, yoghurt, juices, eggs, pancakes etc. Oh well, now we know.

After our brunch we walked around in town for a few hours, we haven't done that together for a while. As always when we're together, we end up spending money!! Among some other bits and pieces I bought the laptop bag that I've wanted from MQ. They had an offer this weekend so for every 500 SEK you spend, you get 100 SEK discount. Stupidly enough the laptop bag cost 999 SEK so I had to pick up a pair of socks (that cost 50 SEK) in order to get 200 SEK off. I also had a 100 SEK bonus check so all in all I paid 750 SEK for the laptop bag and the pair of socks :)

Later on we took the tube back to Maria's and sat in the couch drinking tea watching a few episodes of Dexter (he's a weirdo!). At 7pm we headed over to Sofia's as she had invited us for dinner. It was myself, Maria, Sofia and Malin. Haven't seen them for a long time. Sofia had made a taco pie for us and we had some wine. We were chatting away about all sorts of stuff all evening, it was really nice. At midnight it was time to go home again to get some sleep!

Today I'm just gonna take it easy, I'm currently watching the repeat of Idol on telly and later on I'm gonna do a bit of scrapbooking, make a bracelet, clean up, watch a couple of episodes of "Solsidan" (yay!) and a few other bits and pieces. At 5pm it's time for bodypump again and this Sunday Maria is joining me. After the gym I'm heading over to Täby for dinner at my parents. I haven't had to make dinner all weekend, other people are happy to do that for me :)

Can't sleep!

I've been waking up in the middle of the night a few times this week, don't like it :(

Laptop bag

For a long time I've wanted a slim laptop bag. I only really want the laptop + power cord + mouse to fit into it and possibly a few documents. That way you won't be able to fill it with all sorts of other stuff that I tend to do every single time. It would be very handy to have when travelling with work since I'm visiting the offices in the Nordics every now and then. When I walked into MQ in Bromma blocks last weekend I came across this one:

What a dull day

The weather has been horrible today with the rain and the darkness :( You don't exactly get energized when you go out or look out the window. The only good thing about it is that my dirty car hopefully won't be as dirty when I go to pick it up tomorrow morning ;)

Don't know what to have for dinner tonight, I've just come home from work and I don't wanna start cooking now so I better have a look in the freezer to see if there is something I can eat in there.

Tomorrow is Friday, thank God for that. I'm gonna call over to Kim, Lisa & Benjamin after work. I was afraid to go first since Benjamin has had salmonella and it can be contageous, but Lisa texted me in the afternoon saying that it should be fine so fingers crossed. I haven't seen them since the wedding so I really wanna spend some time with them tomorrow.

God loves you , he'll be there for you.... Here's the proof.

Dragon cake

On Monday Sven had brought the leftovers of a dragon cake that he had made for his son's birthday party. I think he did a pretty good job, don't you!? :)

Bollywood dance

Today a few of us from work tried Bollywood dance at the gym beside us. All of us had loads of fun, the instructor Joakim is very good. He always makes sure that everybody is with him and he puts together a mix of moves. I have attended his dance class before but that was a couple of years ago so it has been a while.

We walked through the routine together and then at the end of the class he split the group in halves and each group had to perform for the other half, makes it all much more fun! ;)

Now I'm back home again and I'm just gonna take it easy for the rest of the night. At 20:00 "Bonde söker fru" starts and I just have to see that and then at 21:00 "Grey's Anatomy" is on. I haven't been able to follow "Grey's Anatomy" the last few seasons but reckon I'm gonna give it a try again :)

Film "Hämnden"

I love going to the cinema at this time of the year and one film that I really want to go and see is "Hämnden" with Mikael Persbrandt, he is supposed to be brilliant in it. You can read more about the film if you click here.

Conn at my desk :)

Ciarán has put up so many nice photos of Conn on FB and I've had the honour to watch videos of him as well :) He's so cute so I just had to print out a photo of him and put him up at my desk, now he's with me every day at work! :)

When I walked down to Ekbacksvägen today to pick up my car I first saw one car almost running over a motorbike as it was changing lanes and then two seconds later another two cars nearly crashed into each other. What's wrong with people!?? They don't seem to be paying too much attention on the roads anyway. Talking about cars, my car is so dirty now that I'm almost ashamed driving around in it :S I've been waiting for some rain so that the worst layer of dirt could go away but just because of that it hasn't been raining lately at all. Well, I'm rather happy about that but it's just a bit typical. The weather has been awesome lately actually and the shifting colours on the trees are amazing!

Premier cleansing and exfoliating facial gel

I must say that the facial gel/scrub that I bought in Bromma blocks from Premier is absolutely brilliant. After I've used this product my skin feels so fantastically smooth - love it! :)

Joshua visit

I've been so sleepy all day today, I'm glad this Monday is over. Went to bed as early as planned last night and fell asleep pretty much straight away (just after 9pm ;)). Woke up around 2 o'clock in the morning though and just couldn't fall asleep again, I think I was awake for 2-3 hours :( When it was time to get up this morning it was almost impossible to get out of bed and I've been extremely tired ever since.

One thing that did wake me up a bit was the singing session today. We sang "Total praise" today which is a lovely song with beautiful harmonies. We went through a couple of other songs as well and when we had about half an hour left, Putte and Lasse called in Joshua Nelson - the gospel singer from New York. We sang a few songs together and everybody was having loads of fun :)

Another bodypump session completed

I'm just back from the gym, this is the third week in a row that I'm attending the bodypump class. Since I was out last night I wasn't quite sure whether I was gonna be able to go but it was no problem. The only thing is that I'm absolutely exhausted now and there is a slight risk that I'm gonna be sore again tomorrow =/ I'm gonna hit the sack very early tonight, I need my sleep!

Kosta Boda snowball

I love lighting candles at this time of the year when it's getting dark and cold outside. It makes it very cosy when you're curling up on the couch :) I really like the snowball candle holder from Kosta Boda and would love to have all three sizes.

Today I'm not feeling great, went out last night with the girls and I don't think I was home until 4 o'clock this morning. Haven't slept well at all and woke up at around 9 so I haven't had enough sleep. Gonna put on "The last song"-dvd in a few minutes, I meant to see it on Friday but it got too late as I was doing a lot of other things then. Emmeli talked about it on FB and I got curios, I think we have the same taste ;) It's based on a story by Nicholas Sparks who has also written "The notebook" and I absolutely love that film, it's so beautiful. Therefore I've got high hopes for this one as well!

Had the time to create a new layout today, it has been a while. Chose to use a couple of photos from "Lucia" when we were a group of people from work singing for all our colleagues. It was a few years ago, I think it might have been December 2007 but I'm not quite sure.



Now it's time to go out for a walk, I might walk to Bromma blocks and back again cause I need to buy a few more things for tonight. I want to go looking for a present as well since I didn't get a chance to do it the last time I was there. The weather is really nice today so I'm looking forward to getting some fresh air :)

Finally Friday, woohoo! I'm really glad it's the weekend :) This week has been much easier than the previous weeks in work but I'm still happy to be off for two days now. I'm hoping that the weather will be good tomorrow, wanna go out for a long nice walk. Perhaps I should walk around Kungsholmen!?

Went to Ica after work to pick up some stuff for the weekend before I headed over to Brommplan to get a takeaway sushi and a dvd. Got "The last song" as Emmeli recommended that. I know she has the same taste as me so I'm gonna watch that later on after Idol. A glass of red wine is keeping me company tonight ;)

Tomorrow we're having a girls night out :) Myself, Louise and Jessica are heading out and I'm really looking forward to it. It has been ages since I was out the last time. The girls are coming over to my place before we head out so I better clean up!

ps. An envelope from Style by Tyra was waiting for me when I came home today. The frog + Katja = true :) I love him!
