Next stop Rimini

Wow, I'm loving it here in Italy. Our holiday has been amazing so far. The weather wasn't great the first couple of days and we had a very rainy day in Venice but it didn't matter as it was such a beautiful city and we enjoyed every moment of it anyway :) Took loads of photos in Venice and I hope some of them are good, still getting to know my camera ;) The hotel we stayed at was quite a crappy hotel but we were right in the middle of everything so it was well worth it!

After our two nights in Venice it was time to take our first train journey up north towards lake Garda. We had booked two nights at a lovely little family owned hotel at Sirmione. Lake Garda is really amazing as well but it started raining our first night there as well and it was very dark. Yesterday we stayed all day on the beach doing some sun bathing and the evening was warm and very enjoyable. We had pasta at a lovely restaurant that the hotel owner recommended, very nice! Last night at around midnight Marcus, Andreas N and Andreas V arrived so we walked over to their hotel and had some drinks with them before it was time to go to bed.

Today has also been great weatherwise and we had time to go to the beach for a couple of hours before it was time to head to Rimini. We arrived here in Rimini at around 5pm and have just had dinner and wine :) Tomorrow it is definitely time to head to the beach again as we were stuck on a train for most of the day today. Have to work on my tan! ;) (the weather forecast looks good for the rest of our stay)

Have just been to the shop where we bought different types of cheeses, olives, salami etc. We're gonna have it all on the balcony tomorrow with some wine that we bought in Sirmione. Can't wait. Hope you're all good. Ciao!
